Toyota Supra's 6th generation will be launched in 2027, with no element from BMW Z4 and will be fully developed by Toyota.

Toyota Supra
Toyota Supra is a famous name in the auto industry. Supra is currently in her 5th generation and is popular in the global market for her excellent performance. Most elements of Toyota Supra's 5th generation have been shared with BMW Z5, including the engine. Despite sharing most elements with Z4, Supra is sold much more than her sibling car. However, Toyota is now working on Supra's 6th generation, which is likely to be introduced in 2027. Unlike the current Supra, the upcoming model will completely develop Toyota itself.
This means that the upcoming Supra will not share any of its elements with BMW Z4. This is definitely good news for Supra's fans as many people were angry at sharing the B58 engine with Supra's BMW Z4. The upcoming supra will probably be more powerful and fun to run. Currently, the MK V Supra has a 3.0-liter inline 6 twin turbo petrol engine that generates 377bhp and 500Nm torque.
New engine
The first generation of Toyota Supra was introduced in 1978 under the name Sailika Supra. As it succeeded, Toyota used Supra as a new nameplate for a sports car. Supra was able to generate 1000+ bhp with some small modes. This made Supra Nemplate very popular worldwide. However, for the 5th generation, Toyota decided to partner with BMW. Mark 5 Supra gets engine from BMW. However, upcoming 2027 Toyota Supra can get a completely new engine made by Toyota.
