TVS NTORQ 150 Test Track Review: Big, Boulder and Better

TVS NTORQ 150 Test Track Review: Big, Boulder and Better

Now, as the competition grows, TV decided to increase its game and enter a new segment, 150 cc segment. This is the place where Ntorq is 150 slots, and I would say that it has already shaken the section. We were called to the Test track of TVS at his factory in Hosur, where we found NTorQ 150 for a small spin, and in a word, we were quite impressed. Here are our first impressions of TVS Ntorq 150.

The TVS NTORQ 150 NTorQ makes on the sporty design of 125, but has a lot of road appearance and beefness.

Tvs ntorq 150: head will change

Most people love the design of Ntorq 125, so TVS decided to visit the drawing board for NTORQ 150. Where the 125 version took inspiration from the graphite concept, this time TVS ensured that most lines and elements appear in NTorQ 150. This means that NTORQ 150 is noted, it ensures that it is on the road.

The up-front is a diamond-head-shaped apron that integrates the smooth LED day-time running lamp which is also doubled as turn indicators. There are four LED projectors that work as low beams and high beams. There is a possibility that at first glance, you will not even notice them. But what you see are vinglets, yes, this 150 cc scooter has winglets. TVS says that the job of these two winglets is to provide stability and keep the airflow streamlined. As you retreat, you will see that the way the handler is designed gives the scooter a very sporty look, especially with the instrument cluster that takes the center stage. At the back, there is a T-shaped taillight and a stuby muffler.

TVS is using all-LED lighting for NTorQ 150. The high version also gets a panic brake alert system.

2025 TVS Ntorq 150: How is handling and break?

The TVS NTorQ 150 shares its chassis and underpinnings with 150 Ntorq 125. However, chassis is beef, and spring rates have been replaced. The wheels are still 12 inch units. TVS says this was an option because they did not want to reduce the dynamics of the scooter. Talking about flicker, Ntorq 150 feels light on its feet; It quickly replaces the directions, placing its line through the corner, and even feels stable at high speed.

The braking duties on NTorQ 150 are being done by a disc and a drum at the back. It comes with a single-channel anti-lock braking system as standard. The ABS is well calibrated, and it does not infiltrate. The front brake provides good response, the bite is strong, and it comes in a stop without too much drama to the scooter. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for rear break. It lacks cutting and stopping power. In addition, if slightly pressurized, it will also lock the back wheel.

The TFT cluster on high variants is very smooth, changes graphics with ride mode and also has a switchgear obtained from Apache RTR 310.

2025 TVS Ntorq 150: What are the facilities on the proposal?

Being a TVS, the NTorQ is filled with 150 features. The high version comes with a full TFT screen that receives switchgear from Apache RTR 310; The screen is bright, smooth and responsible. There is also telematics that enables features such as Alexa, Smartwatch connectivity, Crash Alert, Secret Mode, Vehicle Live Tracking and OTA updates. On the lower version, customers will get a hybrid TFT with an LCD screen. TVS has also equipped the scooter with traction control, but we could not trigger.

Cut-off, parking brakes, LED lighting, a USB port to charge mobile devices and a side stand indicator with an all-in-one lock. TVS should integrate a system where the engine will cut into an event where the scooter falls.

There is a small QB space and an all-in-one key slot. The USB port is placed under the seat that I think the apron should have been placed with cubbi space.

2025 TVS Ntorq 150: How is the performance?

Power to NTORQ 150 is a 149.7 cc, single-cylinder air-cooled engine produces about 13 bhp and 14.4 Nm peak torque. It has a top speed of 104 km per hour and 0-60 kmph of 6.3 seconds. Yes, we all thought that it would be a liquid-cooled unit, but the TVS is using the same block from the 125 cc scooter, but with a large bore and stroke with heavy modified internal. The exit is different and it seems to be throat.

When the engine is getting inactive, there are some vibrations, but as soon as you move forward, they all go away. TV wanted a very flat power curve. And this is really true, power comes in a very linear fashion. Open the twist throttle, and the scooter moves. Up to 80 km per hour, the acceleration is quite quick and it can easily move forward.

NTorQ 150 looks good; The engine is vibrating and has a very linear power distribution.

There are two riding modes on the proposal – road and race. In street mode, the ISS is enabled, so it turns off the engine when the scooter comes to a stop. This helps to save some fuel. In race mode, the ISS has been discontinued and IGO is capable, which we first saw at Jupiter 110. It provides a small boost under heavy acceleration or when overtaking. This shows how much charge is charged on the screen, and when it is ready, the rider needs to leave the throttle and turn it again, to confirm that he wants to use the help. In terms of how quickly the scooter intensifies, there is a slight difference between two ride modes. In race mode, it seems a bit bit responsible and curious. What is really impressive is that even at 100 km per hour, there was a very light discussion.

2025 TVS Ntorq 150: How is rest?

There is a good amount of storage under the seat. Unfortunately, it is also the place where the USB port sits.

The floor board is not the largest, but there is a good amount of room for the rider to move the handler. The ride triangle is not very sporty, so it is comfortable. If two big people are sitting, there may be some shortage of space. Otherwise, it should be fine. Because we rode on a test track, we cannot fully understand how suspension performs. But it was easily managed to cover the undulations of the track.

2025 TVS Ntorq 150: Should you buy one?

Well, when we all heard about a big NTorq coming to the market, we were all excited. On paper, it may not look like the most exciting option in terms of performance. However, once you take a look at pricing, it is difficult to ignore Ntorq 150. The price difference between the base variants of the top-end NTorq 125 and Ntorq 150 is just the difference between the base variants 7,000. At the initial price of 1.15 million East-Dhorerooms, NTORQ 150 is the cheapest 150 cc scooter in the section that is loaded with lots of features, safety equipment and a stylish design. Such as Ntorq 125 is a success, NTorQ 150 has the full potential to be the next game changer for TV.
