New Delhi. The first Tesla model Y car has been delivered in Mumbai, the delivery is a month after Tesla's first showroom opening. ANI has shared a video of this delivery. The owner of India's first model Y Tesla Car is Maharashtra's Transport Minister Pratap Sarnaik. In the video, Sarnaik is shown receiving the car from Bandra Kurla Complex's 'Tesla Experience Center'. They have been captured posing next to the new white car.
Tesla starts in Indian market
Tesla officially entered the Indian market by launching his first 'Tesla Experience Center' at Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) in Mumbai on July 15, 2025. Tesla's electric vehicle range is available in this center. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Transport Minister Pratap Saranaik were present during the launch.
