Regarding Bharat Taxi, Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah has informed on social media platform X that the country's first co-operative taxi service 'Bharat Taxi' is being launched today. This service is an initiative of the Ministry of Cooperation of the Government of India and it will be jointly operated by different cooperative institutions of the country. Its main objective is to ensure that the direct profits from rides go to the drivers. Amit Shah will launch it officially today, although it has started a few days ago and till now about 10 lakh people have ridden Bharat Taxi in 9 cities of India.

Booking a ride is simple. Open the app, click on “Where would you like to go” on the home page. If you give location access, automatic pickup location will come. Enter destination. Then select vehicle type – Bike, Auto, Car etc. Will look fair, please confirm. Then booking will be done. Click on Metro option for metro ticket. There are separate options for rental or intercity. You can see live tracking during the ride.
