Yamaha has expanded the colour choice for the R15 V4 equipped with a quickshifter, making the feature available in Racing Blue and Matte Pearl White finishes. Until now, the clutchless upshift system was limited to the Intensity White version. With the latest update, all three colour options of the quickshifter-equipped R15 V4 are priced at Rs 1.80 lakh (ex-showroom), giving buyers more choice without any changes to the motorcycle’s mechanical package.

Yamaha R15 V4 Quickshifter Variant: Price Features
The quickshifter version costs Rs 4,650 more than the standard R15 V4, which is priced at Rs 1.75 lakh (ex-showroom). The system allows riders to shift up through the six-speed gearbox without operating the clutch or closing the throttle, helping make gear changes quicker and smoother. 
Apart from the addition of the two new colour options, Yamaha has not made any major changes to the R15 V4. Its styling, engine and equipment list remain unchanged.
Yamaha R15 V4: Engine & Hardware
Power comes from a 155cc, liquid-cooled, four-valve, SOHC engine producing 17.8bhp at 10,000rpm and 14.2Nm at 7,500rpm. The motor is mated to a six-speed gearbox and is supported by an assist and slipper clutch as well as traction control.
The motorcycle uses Yamaha’s Deltabox frame, with an upside-down fork at the front and a linked-type monoshock at the rear. It gets a 17-inch front tyre that measures 100mm wide, while the rear tyre is also 17-inch and 140mm wide. Braking hardware consists of a 282mm front disc and a 220mm rear disc, with dual-channel ABS offered as part of the package. The R15 V4 has a kerb weight of 141kg and a seat height of 815mm.
