Kia India is continuously performing better in the domestic market. Its popular car Kia Seltos has added to the company's sales. They have recently announced that Seltos has crossed the total sales mark of 6 lakh units since its launch in India (2019). This achievement reflects the continuously increasing demand for Seltos in the mid-size SUV segment.
Releasing the data, the company said that top end trims (GTX, X-Line etc.) contributed 29% of the total sales, which shows the increasing interest of customers towards premium features, advanced safety and connected technology. In January 2026 alone, 10,639 units were sold, which is 58% more than December 2025. There was a good balance of different variants in the total sales. From base to top, all the trims have found customers.
Price and Design
Kia Seltos can be purchased in Delhi at an ex-showroom price of Rs 10.99 lakh (HTE Petrol MT). At the same time, its top X-Line diesel AT variant goes up to ₹ 19.99 lakh. You can buy it in a total of 10 main variants (HTE, HTK, HTX, GTX, X-Line etc.), which have more than 40 sub-variants.
Based on the new K3 platform, the length of this SUV is 4,460 mm. It gets an aggressive tiger nose grille, ice cube LED headlamps, star map DRL, connected star map tail lamps, 18 inch crystal cut alloy wheels, flush door handles, dual-pane panoramic sunroof. 10 Colors + Matte Graphite for X-Line can be purchased with muscular stance and high ground clearance.

It can be bought with Smoky Black-White or Hunter Green two-tone cabin, 12.3-inch HD touchscreen + 12.3-inch digital cluster (Panoramic Trinity Display), 64 color ambient lighting, ventilated front seats, 10-way power driver seat, rear 60:40 split seats, Bose 8-speaker sound system, wireless charger and dual zone AC.
Features include wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, OTA updates, Kia Connect (remote start, geofencing), smart key, paddle shifters, and electric parking brake. For safety, it gets standard 6 airbags, ABS+EBD, ESC, TPMS, hill hold, 360° camera (top variants) and Level-2 ADAS in the top variant.
Engine and Mileage
The company sells it in a total of 3 engine options. The first one is 1.5L NA petrol, which gives 115 PS power and 144 Nm torque. The second is 1.5L turbo petrol, which produces 160 PS power and 253 Nm torque. The third is 1.5L turbo diesel unit, which is capable of producing 116 PS power and 250 Nm torque. Its maximum claimed mileage is 20.7 KMPL.
