A shocking case of breaking traffic rules has come to light in Hyderabad. A BMW car driver was caught in a drunken state in Jubilee Hills, a posh area of the Telangana capital. The most surprising thing was that to avoid challan, he was using the illegal technique of changing the number plate with remote control.
Jubilee Hills police suspected this driver during a routine drunk driving check. When the driver's behavior seemed suspicious, the police searched his car. During the search, a special flip mechanism was found inside the car, which was operated by remote. The driver could change or completely hide his vehicle's number plate by simply pressing a button. The purpose of this system was to avoid the eyes of the traffic police and to avoid challans.
What is the matter?
This system is said to be based on Chinese technology, in which the number plate reverses as soon as a button or remote is pressed near the steering. Driver Dr. Gautam Reddy was using two different number plates in his BMW. One from Telangana (TS 09 FQ 9999) and the other from Delhi (DL 6 CM 7097). Its purpose was to avoid traffic cameras, e-challan and police checking. The incident took place on Saturday night on Road No. 1 in Jubilee Hills, where when the police asked for a breath analyzer test, the driver got nervous and accidentally pressed the button.
