New Delhi. Today lakhs of two-wheelers and four-wheelers are being sold across the country. While braking system is mainly used as a safety feature in two-wheelers, safety is very important in four-wheelers. Although, there are many such models in the country which are in high demand, but they are proving to be weak in terms of safety.

Most of these include Maruti models, which are selling well in the market, but are failing in crash tests. Let us know about 4 such cars which have got very poor ratings in crash tests but people are buying them indiscriminately in the market.

This car is the best seller in the 7-seater segment, but has proved to be weak in terms of safety. The starting ex-showroom price of Ertiga is Rs 8.69 lakh (ex-showroom).

Nearly 1 lakh units of this car have been sold in the first 6 months of this year, but this car is also far behind in terms of safety.

Pay attention before buying
If you are planning to buy a car, then definitely look at its safety rating before buying. The safety ratings of many popular cars sold in the market are quite poor. In such a situation, if you want full value of your money, then include safety also in the list.
