New Delhi. Toyota has seen great success in terms of sales in October 2024. There has been an increase in the company's sales as compared to September and the demand for all its 9 models has increased. In particular, a lot of enthusiasm was seen among the customers regarding Toyota's luxury MPV Vellfire. Its ex-showroom price is Rs 1.20 crore, despite this the customers liked this model very much.
In October, 115 units of Toyota Vellfire were sold, whereas in September this figure was 87 units. In this way, 27 more units of Vellfire were sold last month. Due to increasing customer demand, the waiting period of this model has also increased from 6 months to 7 months.
Vellfire is equipped with hybrid technology
The Vellfire has the option of a strong hybrid model, which has a 2.5-litre inline four-cylinder DOHC engine. This engine generates maximum power of 142 kW and torque of 240 Nm. Hybrid technology has been used in it, which helps it to run with less emissions and better mileage. Toyota claims that the self-charging strong hybrid model of Vellfire is capable of running in zero emission mode for 40% of the distance and 60% of the time. Its mileage is stated to be 19.28 km per liter.
Premium finish in looks and interior
Vellfire is available in three exterior color options – Platinum Pearl White, Jet Black and Precious Metal. Apart from this, three options have been given for the interior – sunset brown, neutral beige and black. Many improvements have also been made in its seating arrangement, making it more spacious than before. The distance between the second row and front seats has been increased by updating the driving position. The third row uses thinner side quarter trims and rear door trim to make better use of space.
Hi-tech technology in connectivity and security features
Toyota Vellfire has over 60 connected features, which include features like remote door lock/unlock, air conditioning, emergency service, vehicle diagnostics and driver monitoring alerts. In terms of safety, it has been provided with technology like Advanced Driver Assistant System (ADAS). Apart from this, features like cruise control, lane trace assistance, high beam LED headlamp and blind spot monitor are also included in Vellfire.

Toyota Vellfire has performed brilliantly in October and has made a strong hold in the luxury MPV segment. The increase in waiting period to 7 months is an indication that the demand for Vellfire is likely to remain high in the times to come.
