A resident of Ghaziabad has sent a legal notice to the Municipal Commissioner, in which he has demanded a loss of Rs 5 lakh after his Mercedes was trapped in the Sahibabad area amidst waterlogging. Amit Kishore, a resident of Vasundhara, said that on July 23, his Mercedes was caught in waterlogging in Sahibabad, when he was going to Lajpat Nagar.
Car deteriorated due to waterlogging
Kishore said that his Mercedes GLA 200D stopped near Shyam Park Extension due to waterlogging. “The entire road was immersed in water and the drainage system failed completely,” he said. He eventually had to arrange a tow truck, which took the vehicle to the service center in Noida. The repair cost can reach several lakh rupees. Kishore told that in 2018, he bought this car for 60 lakh rupees.
