Mahindra & Mahindra will soon launch updated Thar 3-Dore and Bolero Neo, which will provide inspired designs, new features and engine options from Thar Rocks. Price hike is possible.
Better styling
A slightly better styling in the exterior, the new Mahindra Thar 2025 will have a new grill and headlamps and tales in the new C-shaped LED LED signatures with double-tacked slots. The SUV will have newly designed alloy wheels (possibly limited to high trims), while there will be no change in the size of the tire.

The spy image confirms that the updated Thar will have a new 3-spoke electric power steering instead of the existing hydraulic power unit. It will also have a large 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a wireless phone charger, a reverse parking camera, a front armrest, door-inled power window switch and Grab handles on A-Pillars, which are taken from Thar Rocks.
Gearbox options will continue in the new 2025 Mahindra Thar facelift, existing 152bhp, 2.0 turbo petrol, 119bhp, 1.5L turbo diesel and 132bhp, 2.2L Turbo Diesel Engine Options will continue. Transmissions will also be taken from the existing model, including 6-speed manual (standard) and 6-speed torque converter automatic (with only 2.2L diesel variants).
price
According to GST reports, the price of current 3-door Thar has been cut by Rs 1.35 lakh and currently it is priced between Rs 10.31 lakh to Rs 16.60 lakh. With more premium features and styling upgrade, the price of 2025 Thar facelift is expected to increase slightly.
