Be ready! 4 new hybrid cars to launch Maruti, market game will change

Maruti Suzuki will introduce at least four strong hybrid cars by the end of 2026. Although the official launch timeline and product details have not been announced yet, the upcoming range will include Fronks Hybrid, New-Jen Baleno, a premium SUV and a sub-4 meter MPV.

Maruti Fronx Hybrid will be the first model of its strong hybrid powertrain of the Maruti Fronx Hybrid, seen during testing recently. It will probably come to the showroom in the first half of 2026. Spy images show that this compact crossover will also have ADAS (Autonomous Driver Assistance System) suit.

After the Baleno and Mini MPV Fronx Hybrid, a mini MPV will soon come after the Next-Jeanoration Baleno hatchback and Japan-Spak Suzuki Spaceia. In these two models, Maruti Suzuki will have a new hybrid powertrain.

Hybrid powertrain Maruti Suzuki will probably hybridize its 1.2L, 3-cylinder Z-series petrol engine that powers the Swift hatchback. According to reports, this hybrid technology will be quite economical compared to Toyota's Atkinson cycle system. This will be a series hybrid system, which will give fuel efficiency of more than 35kmpl.

A premium SUV Indo-Japanese Automaker is also working on a premium SUV, which will be more than 4.5 meters long and will be a three-to-seat configuration. It will share the platform and powertrain with Grand Vitara and compete with SUVs like Tata Safari, Hyundai Alkazar, Mahindra XUV700 and Mg Hector Plus.
