The sales of Nexon, Creta and Scorpio reached record levels with the implementation of new GST rates in September, a huge reduction in prices and additional benefits increased the sale.
The government had implemented new GST rates across the country from last month i.e. 22nd of September. After this, many things have become cheaper than before, the price of cars has reduced considerably compared to the reduction before tax. This is the reason that in September, there was a tremendous jump in the sale of many popular cars. According to industry data, Nexon sales were 22,573 units, 18,861 units of Creta and 18,372 units of Scorpio (N + Classic). It was the best monthly cell for all three SUVs.

In Tata Nexon-September, Nexon took 37.83% of Tata Motors' passenger vehicle (PV) sales, while Creta contributed 36.59% to the sale of Hyundai Motor India.

Scorpio had a 32.67% share in Mahindra & Mahindra's SUV sales. In September 2025, Tata's PV sales were 59,667 units, Mahindra's 56,233 units and Hyundai had 51,547 units.

Nexon's sales in September were the best monthly cell for any Tata's PV, while Creta and Venue (11,484 units) brought Hyundai's domestic SUV sales to a record 72.39%. In GST 2.0, the price of Nexon has decreased by Rs 1.55 lakh and now its initial price is Rs 7.32 lakh (ex-showroom). In September, Tata also gave additional benefit of up to Rs 45,000 on the SUV.

Talking about Scorpio, the prices of classic and N have decreased by Rs 1.01 lakh and Rs 1.45 lakh respectively. The initial price of the classic is now Rs 12.98 lakh (ex-showroom), while the initial price of N is Rs 13.20 lakh (ex-showroom).
