Mercedes-Benz sold 1 crore car every six minutes in Navratri, sold 5,119 units in July-September, G580 Edition One has been sold for a year for 3.1 crore.
New Delhi. India's largest luxury car brand Mercedes-Benz has set a new record in the Indian market. The company announced on Monday that it sold a new car every six minutes during the recently concluded Navratri, which was an average price of Rs 1 crore. This is the best performance ever for the three-pointed star brand. The July-September quarter was the strongest quarter of the Mercedes-Benz India so far, selling 5,119 units. About half of these sales – more than 2,500 units – occurred in the last 9 days of the quarter.
This boom raised the company from the loss, as the total sales were 5,117 units in the same quarter of last year. Goods and service tax (GST) were less interested in purchasing cars before the rate improvement. The big reason for this was the increasing price of cars.
What is the price of Mercedes G580 Edition One?
The All-Electric G580 Edition One, launched by Mercedes-Benz in January, is priced at Rs 3.1 crore and has been sold for the year. Booking for next year is now open. Mercedes started the 'Dream Days' campaign, which introduced financial solutions to make Mercedes more affordable.
