New Delhi. The new model of Maruti Suzuki Brezza is expected to arrive soon. The company is preparing to update its compact SUV and its first glimpse has been revealed. The new model has been seen during testing, in which some changes have been seen. The front look of the car has been revealed. There will be no major changes in the design, but some minor changes will be made. The special thing is that CNG setup can be seen in this model. CNG tank no longer in the boot
The car shown during testing had a CNG sticker on its rear windshield. It is expected that Maruti Suzuki can use underbody CNG tank layout in the new model of Brezza. This means that the CNG tank will be fitted under the car, which will solve the problem of boot space. The same setup has been given in the recently launched Victoris and it can also be included in the new Brezza.
What changes in design and features?
Design – The profile and basic body of Brezza will remain the same. There may be slight changes in the rear taillights, while the alloy wheels will remain the same as the current model. The new model can also get a roof-mounted spoiler with a shark-fin antenna and integrated high-mounted stop lamp.
Discussion of ADAS – There is also a possibility of getting Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) in the new model of Brezza. This feature is quite popular and is in demand. If this feature is available in Brezza, then it will be able to compete with other vehicles in its segment.
Engine and Safety
engine – There will be no change in the engine of Brezza. The old 1.5-litre K15C four-cylinder engine will continue in it. In petrol mode, this engine will give power of 102 bhp and torque of 137 Nm. In CNG mode it will give 87 bhp power and 121.5 Nm torque output.
Transmission – There will be no change in transmission options also. A manual gearbox will continue for both fuel types and a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission for the petrol variant.
Safety – The Brezza is already updated with six airbags and other safety upgrades and will be based on the Global C platform, which has received a four-star GNCAP rating.
