Prime Minister Narendra Modi today received President Vladimir Putin at Palam Airport in Delhi and from there took him to Lokmanya Tilak Marg. He did not select either of the two official cars for this journey. Rather chose another vehicle of the PM's convoy.
New Delhi. The Russian President landed at Palam Airport in Delhi where he was welcomed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself. After the welcome, both of them sat in a car and went towards Lok Kalyan Marg which is the official residence and office of the PM. But the car in which both of them left the airport was neither the official car of the PM nor of President Putin. This was a different vehicle which may have been added to the PM's convoy for this special moment. This car is a Fortuner of Japanese car manufacturer Toyota Kirloskar.
Not much information about this vehicle is publicly available. The registration of this vehicle is valid till 2039. Its pollution is till 25 June 2026.
