Byd has entered the Pakistan market in partnership with the Mega Motor Company, a subsidiary of Pakistani utility hub power. Byd is planning to meet the growing demand of EVS in Pakistan and other emerging markets. The Chinese EV manufacturer will prepare his plant near Karachi in April.

Construction started in 2025

Talking to Reuters, Danish Khalik, vice -president of Byd Pakistan's Sales and Statiji, confirmed that the construction work of the assembly plant started in April 2025 and its annual capacity would be 25,000 units.
