Mercedes-Benz India has launched the GLS AMG line, which starts at Rs 1.40 crore. It comes with SUV sporty design and petrol-diesel options.

Mercedes-AMG inspired design
The new GLS AMG line has an inspired design from Mercedes-AMG, which adds sporty flair to the full-size SUV segment. Design changes include bold AMG Front Apron, Special Air Intex, Flaured Wing Panels and Defuser-Luke Insrts on the rear. The brake system has large perforated brake discs on front axle and brake calipers with “Mercedes-Benz” lettering.

The AMG Night Package GLS gives the AMG line a bold visual identity, which increases its sporty character with strikes black-out design elements. Major highlights include gloss black exterior mirror housing, dark shoulder and window line trim strips, and elegant matte black roof rails, which increase the SUV's road presence. Signature 21-inch AMG Light-Alloy Wheels increase its aggressive stance.
Multifunction Sport Steering Wheel
Multifunction Sport Steering Wheel is finished in Nappa Leather, with a 3-twin-spoke design with sleek black color and matching black topstiching. Its flat bottom section is performed for better grip in the handle area, and it comes with interactive touch control panels and gearshift paddles for dynamic driving experience.
Petrol and diesel options
GLS AMG line is available in petrol and diesel options, which gives excellent performance with two inline 6-cylinder engines with 9G-Tronic transmission. Both variants give a top speed of 250 kmph and hold a speed of 0–100 kmph in just 6.1 seconds, which is possible due to torque and all-wheel-drive 4matic systems.
