Skoda Auto India has officially started bookings for Kodiaq RS, the high-performance version of its popular Kodiaq SUV, from June 22, 2026. This is the brand's first RS badged SUV, which offers a great combination of performance, luxury and practicality. With a more powerful engine, sportier look and premium features than the standard Kodiaq, it is an attractive option for performance-oriented customers.
Limited units (about 50) will come to India through the CBU route. The launch is going to happen soon and the price is expected to be around ₹50-60 lakh (ex-showroom). The RS version produces about 60 hp and 80 Nm more power than the standard model, making it the fastest Skoda SUV in India. Design and interior
The Kodiaq RS maintains the overall shape of the standard model, but looks more aggressive with RS-specific elements. The gloss black grille, front bumper with large air intakes, Matrix LED headlamps, black body accents, high-gloss black roof rails, mirror covers and D-pillar make it sportier. RS badging is present at the front and rear. This 7-seater SUV dominates the road with its large size and bold stance.
The cabin keeps the same layout as the standard Kodiaq but is sportier with the RS theme. The black dominant color scheme, red contrast stitching, sport seats (with integrated headrests), leather-suede upholstery, RS branding, multi-function leather steering wheel and sporty pedal covers add a premium feel. Electrically adjustable front seats with memory function. Three-row seating is practical for family use.
Features and safety
Large touchscreen infotainment system (12.9 or 13 inches), excellent sound system (with 13 speakers), Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, powered tailgate, three-zone climate control, ambient lighting, keyless entry and ADAS level-2 features (adaptive cruise, lane assist etc.) will be present. It is full of luxury and technology.
Kodiaq RS has features like 9 airbags, ESC, ABS with EBD, traction control, electronic differential lock, hill assist, 360-degree camera and ISOFIX. Engine and Performance
Its 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbo-petrol TSI engine generates 261-265 hp power and 400 Nm torque. The 7-speed DSG dual-clutch transmission and standard AWD system does 0-100 kmph in just 6.4 seconds. Top speed is 231 kmph. Adaptive dampers and upgraded brakes provide better handling. This performance SUV offers thrills as well as everyday driving.
