New Delhi. The recently launched Maruti Victoris SUV has achieved a 5-star safety rating in the Bharat NCAP (New Car Assessment Program) Crash Test. Midsize SUV has scored 31.66 out of 32 in adult safety and 43 out of 49 in child safety. Top-end ZX+ and ZX+ (O) Trims, which are equipped with strong hybrid and petrol-automatic powertrain, were selected for the crash test.

This new Maruti SUV includes 6 airbags, electronic stability control, ISOFIX anchor for rear seats and 3 point seatbelts with reminders for all passengers. It also completes the AIS-100 Padistrian Safety Standards. Victoris is the first car of Maruti Suzuki to include Level-2 Adas suit for high trims.

Maruti Victoris Adult Safety Rating

The new Victoris SUV was included in all three Tests – Front Offset Deforceable Barrier Test, Side Movable Debable Barrier Test and Side Pol Impact Test. In the front offset deformable barrier test, the model obtained 15.66 points out of 16.

Driver safety
The results showed good safety for the driver's head, neck and pelvis regions, while the driver's chest and knee safety were considered sufficient. Made in India E-Vitara's fire test! The world's most difficult crash test will be included

New Delhi. Suzuki launched E Vitara in the United Kingdom in February this year, which came to India in January after her debut at the India Mobility Global Expo. While the Indian audience is waiting for the launch of E Vitara, which will probably be next month, this electric SUV is also becoming popular in Europe.

E Vitara has been listed on the official website of Euro NCAP, which confirms that the results and scores of the safety crash test of the car will be published soon.

Test of Made in India Unit

India is the Global Production Center of Suzuki E Vitara, this car is built in Hansalpur plant in Gujarat. Therefore, the E Vitara Unit tested by Global NCAP should also be Made in India. This will be the first time a crash test of Maruti Suzuki or Suzuki Vehicle built in India will be done in Euro NCAP.

5-star safety rating expected
While Suzuki is expecting a 5-star safety rating, getting a 5-star safety rating in Euro NCAP is a very challenging task as its rules are much strict than Global or Bharat NCAP. For good results, Euro-Spec Suzuki E Vitara SUV may include additional safety features which are necessary to score more in Euro NCAP.

Safety features
Talking about safety, E Vitara includes 7 airbags, tire pressure monitoring systems (ADAS), ABS with EBD, EPB, Avas, 360-Digry camera, and front and rear parking sensors. E Vitara will be the first car in Maruti to include Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) suit, including automatic emergency braking, lane keip assist, lane departure prevention, adaptive cruise control, rear cross-traffic alert and other features.
