Tata Motors is all set to strengthen its lineup of electric vehicles in the Indian auto market. Bringing back the iconic Tata Sierra name in an electric avatar, the company will officially unveil the Sierra EV on June 30, 2026. This model has been shown in concept form at the Auto Expo 2020 and 2023 and recently its modern-retro design has been revealed in the production-spec teaser. Built on the acti.ev+ platform, this SUV will be positioned between Curvv EV and Harrier EV, which will compete with competitors like Mahindra BE 6, Hyundai Creta Electric and MG ZS EV in the market.

Tata Sierra EV combines retro boxy looks with EV-specific elements like closed-off grille, connected LED DRLs and wrap-around rear glass, giving it a modern appeal while maintaining the Sierra's legacy.
