The company celebrated this achievement with a national campaign called “SUV of India”. Because, this car is very much liked in both the city and the village. According to Tata Motors, Panch was designed to make SUV experience better and affordable for every Indian. The share of women in the big customer base of the punch is also enough. 25% punch.ev buyers are women, due to its compact but impressive stance, high ground clearance and easy driving.
Popular from city to towns
The popularity of the car is in different parts of India, with 24% of buyers come from Tier 1 cities, 42% from Tier 2 and 34% Tier 3 towns. It is also very much liked as a family car along with young professionals. In Cy2024, Tata Panch became the best -selling car in India.

5 star safety rating
The punch also has a 5-star safety rating for ICE (Global NCAP) and EV (India NCAP) variants, and has been introduced in petrol, CNG and electric powertrain. It currently contributes 36% to Tata Motors Total Passenger Vehicle Sale and has 38% market share in the sub-compact SUV segment. Panch remains the leader of its segment with more than 20 automotive awards and with 15% year on year growth.
