Citroën has launched the new X Comfort Edition of its popular coupe-SUV Basalt in India. The starting ex-showroom price of Citroën Basalt X Comfort Edition is ₹ 8.75 lakh. This edition is based on the standard model but special focus has been laid on making the cabin more premium, increasing comfort features and personalization. This is the second such model after Aircross Comfort Edition.

Offering a comfortable experience in both city traffic and long drives, this variant is attractive to buyers who want style, comfort and value. Maruti Suzuki's most popular compact SUV Brezza is going to get its first major facelift in 2026. The company has teased it for the first time and has also started booking. This update will bring freshness in design, features and engine options, which will make it stronger compared to cars like Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet and Tata Nexon.

Brezza has always been known for its reliability, low maintenance and family-friendly space. The new facelift is set to attract young buyers by adding modern look, advanced technology and better performance to it. Launch is expected in July 2026. Booking has already started. Customers can book through Maruti dealership or official website/app by paying a token amount. Confirm the exact token amount with the dealer. The big update will be the new 1.0 liter turbo-petrol engine (about 100 PS, 148 Nm), which can be sourced from the Fronx. This will give better performance and less tax benefits. Nissan Motor India is going to make the global debut of its new midsize SUV Nissan Tekton in the Indian market tomorrow (9 July 2026). This is a big sign of the brand's strong comeback in India, especially with the return of the midsize SUV segment after the discontinuation of the Kicks. The Tecton is based on the new generation Renault Duster, but will come with Nissan's own design language, especially styling inspired by the flagship Patrol SUV. This 5-seater SUV built on the CMF-B platform can be launched in India by June 2026 and will give direct competition to vehicles like Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Tata Sierra and Skoda Kushaq.

Its price is expected to be between Rs 11 lakh to Rs 19 lakh (ex-showroom). It will be produced in the Chennai plant, which will supply for the domestic market as well as for export.
