MG Select has recently launched Couture Editions of Cyberster and M9, which are limited editions. Production of both models is limited to only 50 units. Pre-reservations have started, while the official announcement of prices will take place on August 3. However, the price details of the standard variant have been revealed.

The starting ex-showroom price of the standard variant of the Cyberster is ₹ 74.99 lakh (pre-reserved ₹ 72.49 lakh), while the introductory price of the M9 is around ₹ 69.90 lakh. Delivery is scheduled to start from August 2026. These additions will offer a premium package of luxury, performance and exclusivity.

Design and interior

The MG Cyberster Couture Edition is a stylish electric roadster with sporty lines, a sculpted body and dual-tone color options. It combines modern EV design with roadster looks. Whereas, M9 Couture Edition is a luxury 7-seater MPV, which has the presence of a presidential limousine. It has sleek lines, panoramic sunroof and premium finishing, which makes it a family luxury vehicle.

The interior of the Cyberster is sporty and tech-forward. It gets tri-cluster screens (7-inch entertainment, 10.25-inch instrument cluster), Bose premium audio, heated seats and quality leather upholstery. There is a new level of luxury in M9 Couture. There are 16-way adjustable presidential captain seats (with massage, heating, ventilation), 12.23-inch touchscreen, JBL sound system, multiple screens and 3-zone climate control. It is very comfortable for long journeys.

Features and safety

Cyberster includes ADAS Level-2, Bose speakers, wireless charging and connected tech. The M9 Couture Edition has luxury elements like more than 40 i-SMART features, panoramic sunroof, automatic sliding doors, V2L/V2V support and ottoman seats. Both have high-end infotainment and connectivity.

Cyberster has 4 airbags, level-2 ADAS (AEB, Lane Keep Assist etc.) and strong battery safety features. M9 has received 5-star Euro NCAP/ANCAP rating, it has 7 airbags, level-2 ADAS, 360 degree camera, TPMS and strong body structure.

Powertrain details

The Cyberster GT has a 77 kWh battery, dual-motor AWD setup, 510 hp power and 725 Nm torque. It accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds and gives a range of up to 580 km. M9 has 548 km range with 90 kWh battery, 245 PS power, 350 Nm torque. Both EVs offer fast charging and smooth performance.

The chassis tuning has been overseen by ex-Formula 1 engineer Marco Fenello, with Brembo brakes allowing stopping from 100 to 0 km/h in just 33 metres. Safety features include Level 2 ADAS, a driver monitoring system, multiple airbags, electronic stability control and a body structure designed to resist rollovers.
