Last month, Renault launched two important in mass-market space, while Volvo launched the new XC60 facelift and Mercedes launched AMG CLE 53 Coupe in the premium market. This month, Maruti Suzuki will introduce an absolutely new Arena SUV. The Vinfast will announce VF6 and VF7 prices, and Volvo will continue its new product lineup with EX30 Electric SUV. Maruti Suzuki will introduce an absolutely new 5-sit midsize SUV, which will compete with Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos, but will be made more economical than Grand Vitara as it will be sold through the Arena dealership. This new SUV with Y17 codename can be called Victoris at the time of launch.
The Basalt range will have a new top-end trim. It is expected to get cosmetic and equipment upgrade. An image has also indicated new black and tan upholstery for the interior. While it can get new facilities like 360-degree camera, there will be no mechanical change in it.
After waiting for several months, Vinfast will announce VF7 prices this month. The 4.5-meter long EV has a sleek, crossover-like exterior. India-spec Vinfast VF7 will come with 7.2kw AC and CCS2 DC fast charging support with 70.8kwh LFP battery. Its price is expected to be around 30 lakh rupees, and the booking is already running.
VF6 is also coming this month and it is 4.23 meters long. It seems to be a small variant of VF7, and takes most of the facilities from large SUVs such as touchscreen, glass roof and adas suits. Prices are expected to be between Rs 20 lakh -25 lakh.
EX30 Volvo will have the first ground up EV in India. Its price is expected to be around Rs 50 lakh, which will keep it in line with other entry-level luxury EVs like BMW IX1 and Byd Sealion 7.
