Prior to this program, PM Modi described this launch as an important step towards India's self -sufficiency. When will delivery start
The BE 6 Batman Edition is based on Mahindra's Electric Origin SUV's flagship 79kwh pack 3 variants, designed to be inspired by Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Trillji. It is priced at Rs 27.79 lakh (ex-showroom) and delivery is scheduled to begin on September 20, International Batman Day. Warner Brothers Discovery Global Consumer Products Developed Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition BE 6 is based on the range-topping pack 3 (79kwh) variant of BATman Edition Be 6.
The outer part has special custom satin black finish, Batman decals, 20-inch alloy wheels and bold alkmy gold-painted suspension and brake calipers. Projects have been made on the ground through Bat Insignia's hub caps, quarter panels, rear bumper and even night trail carpet lamps. “Be 6 the Dark Night” badge underpins its collector appeal. Inside, the cabin has a swed-leather upholstery with gold stitching, a numbed batman edition plate, embossed bat logo and a special infotainment animation. Gold detailing steering wheels, in-touch controller and electronic parking brakes, while completing a special phobe package of a special.
Preparation to bring new limited edition model
Each of 999 buyers can choose a badge number between 001-999. At the price of Rs 27.79 lakh (ex-showroom), the BE 6 Batman Edition is located as a collector Peace that connects the pop culture with modern luxury. Mahindra has also indicated the arrival of such limited models in 2026.
How is the design?
The design is like Carens Clavis Ice (petrol and diesel), but there are some fine differences – EV has air flaps for closed grills, separate alloy wheels, 'EV' badging and low drag. The cabin has a center console with 'floating design', gear lever has been transferred behind the steering wheel (as a stock), the instrument cluster has information like range/charge in the instrument cluster, besides a small front trunk below the bonnet.
Klavis EV has a fairly practical cabin-the second row seats can slide/relieve, and the third is an one-tach electric tumble for easy access to the row. 'Boss mode' lets you shift the front passenger seat from behind. Adults of average size in third row can easily fit, and the flat floor comfort up.
The driver's seating position is good, the road has a commanding view. Gear stock has to flick to go from P to R to R. Because there is a battery pack in the floor, the seating position is high. The suspension sounds a bit hard (for extra battery weight), the rest of the back seat is good, and the legroom looks better than the Creta Electric, with which it shares the platform and the battery pack.
There is a technique in this EV called I-Pedal. You have to set the braking on a maximum level using paddle shifters behind the steering wheel (and the maximum level is I-Pedal). Then, as soon as you remove your foot from the accelerator, the car slows down very fast. In stop-end-go traffic, it means that you will not have to use a brake pedal at all.
What is the True Range?
Where Kia claims a range of 490 km, the Test car showed a 384 km real world range, not enough for long trips, but with the right driving a family can travel from Delhi to Jaipur/Agra/Chandigarh or Mumbai to Nashik/Pune. Should you buy it? The 42-KWH variant is priced at Rs 17.99-20.49 lakhs, and the 51.4-KWH variant is priced at Rs 22.49-24.49 lakhs. It is in the same range of Creta Electric, but Kia also has more space, a little long range, fast charging and seven seats options.

Mahindra and Force
The competition between Mahindra Auto and Force Motors in the lifestyle SUV segment has been long ago. But it is clear that at present, Mahindra is a one -sided winner in this competition. The company is now stepping into the electric segment after selling Thar and Thar Rocks with petrol and diesel engines. Force Motors is also trying to make its place in the electric lifestyle SUV segment.
The company has not yet given any information about Gurkha EV, however, seeing the spy image, it is clear that the company has started testing Gurkha EV. It can be estimated that Force Motors is getting ready to compete with Mahindra, including an electric version of Thar. On August 15, Mahindra is preparing to showcase 4 new concept vehicles and one of them can be the Near Production version of Thar Electric.
Combat with Thar
Force Motors can develop an electric version of its Gurkha to compete with Mahindra's Future Electric Offerings. Looking at the test mule, we can see that it is fully visible without any chemoplas. If the company is actually developing the electric version of its already popular Gurkha, then there is less possibility of any change in the design in Gurkha EV. This test mule was part of the Fleet of the other Force Motors Test mules. ,
