2026 Honda City Facelift has finally been launched in India and this time Honda has made it more premium and tech-loaded than before. The new City has a sporty design, large 10.25-inch touchscreen, 360 camera, ADAS safety and mileage up to 27kmpl. With a starting price of ₹ 12 lakh, this sedan has come to directly challenge Verna, Virtus and Slavia. Know which new features make it the most special in the segment.

Along with the design, features have also been updated in the 2026 Honda City Facelift.

Honda Cars India has launched its popular midsize sedan 2026 Honda City Facelift. The company has made the new City more attractive with stylish exterior updates, premium interior features and better technology. Its starting ex-showroom price has been kept at only ₹ 12 lakh.

Variant options include SV (Base, ₹12 lakh), V (₹12.80 lakh) and VX (₹13.80 lakh+). The price can go up to ₹ 16-19 lakh in top variants with premium features. Hybrid (e:HEV) variant will also be available, which has the highest price. It will compete with Hyundai Verna, Volkswagen Virtus and Skoda Slavia in the market, let's take a look at its feature updates from design.

Design and interior

The 2026 Honda City Facelift has been given a sportier look. The new honeycomb grille, redesigned front bumper, sharp LED headlamps and connected LED DRLs make it modern. Clear-lens taillamps and new 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels have been provided in the rear. A new factory black color option (Mafia Black) is also available, which gives a premium look to the car.

There is a lot of refreshment in the cabin. There is a new 10.25-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system (Elevate style), secret blue ambient lighting, new upholstery and better material quality. Ventilated front seats and Max Cool AC feature add to the comfort. Space is as roomy as before, offering the best rear seat comfort in the segment.

Features and safety

Talking about features, many new and useful features have been provided in the new City. These include 360-degree surround view camera, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, ventilated seats, larger touchscreen and updated connected car technology. Honda Sensing ADAS safety suite will also be available in top variants. For safety, 6 airbags, TPMS, ESP, ISOFIX child seat anchor and blind spot monitoring are provided as standard in all its variants. Safety has become stronger with the ADAS system in top models.

Engine and Mileage

Talking about the engine, the 2026 Honda City Facelift has the same 1.5L i-VTEC petrol engine, which generates 121 PS power and 145 Nm torque. It will have the option of 6-speed manual and CVT automatic transmission. Talking about mileage, it is expected to get a mileage of around 17.8 kmpl in the manual variant and 18.4 kmpl (ARAI) in the CVT. The hybrid e:HEV variant can get a mileage of up to 24-27 kmpl.

Honda Cars India reduced the prices of Amaze, Elevate and City after GST reform, new prices will remain valid by December 2025, Amaze has decreased by up to Rs 1.2 lakh.

New Delhi. Honda Cars India has announced a new price of Amaze (second and third generation models), elevate and every variant of the city after the GST reform. The updated prices are now applicable to the entire model line and will remain valid by December 2025. After the GST price cut, the price of 2025 Honda Elevate Midsize SUV is now between Rs 11 lakh to Rs 16.25 lakh. The additional price of Black Edition and Ivory Enhancements is more than Rs 10,000.

Honda cars became cheaper
The price of 2025 Honda Amaze has decreased by up to Rs 1.2 lakh. Its base variant is now available for Rs 6.98 lakh and the price of top-end variants is Rs 10 lakh. The prices of 2025 Honda City sedan have been reduced by Rs 58,000. The price of petrol variants is now between Rs 11.95 lakh to Rs 16.07 lakh, while E: HeV hybrid variant is available for Rs 19.48 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom.

The Honda City facelift arrived earlier this year and now comes with a cash discount of up to ₹25,000. Alternatively, you can choose to get free accessories from the dealer worth ₹26,947. There is also an exchange bonus of ₹15,000, a customer loyalty bonus of ₹4,000 and a Honda car exchange bonus of ₹6,000. Corporate buyers get a discount of ₹5,000, while there’s a special corporate discount of ₹20,000 on the sedan.

Concerning variant-wise offers, the Honda City VX and ZX get an extended warranty worth ₹13,651 as part of the package. The City Elegant Edition introduced earlier this year gets a special edition benefit worth ₹40,000 and an exchange bonus of ₹10,000. The discounts also extend to the City Hybrid in the brand’s lineup.

The Honda Amaze gets benefits across its variant range including cash and corporate discounts as well as loyalty bonuses for existing Honda owners

On the Honda Amaze, the S variant is available with a cash discount of ₹35,000 or free accessories worth ₹42,444. Customers can also avail of an exchange bonus of ₹15,000 a corporate discount of ₹3,000 and a special corporate discount of ₹20,000. If you are an existing Honda user, the company will give you a loyalty bonus of ₹4,000.

Furthermore, the Honda Amaze E variant gets a cash discount of ₹15,000 or buyers can opt for free accessories worth ₹18,148. The subcompact sedan also gets a loyalty bonus of ₹4,000, a corporate discount of ₹3,000 and a special corporate discount of ₹20,000. Buyers exchanging their old car will get a bonus of ₹15,000.

The Honda Amaze Elite Edition gets a special edition benefit worth ₹30,000, an exchange bonus of ₹10,000, ₹3,000 worth of corporate discount and a loyalty bonus of ₹4,000. Lastly, the Amaze VX gets a cash discount of ₹25,000 or accessories worth ₹30,245. Customers can also avail an exchange bonus of ₹15,000, a special corporate discount of ₹20,000 and a corporate discount of ₹3,000. There’s a customer loyalty bonus of ₹4,000 for existing owners.

Make sure to check with your local dealer for the best offers to get the final price on the Honda City and Amaze. The offers also come at a good time with the automaker slated to hike prices across its lineup from January onwards.
