At present, powertrain details are not available yet. However, it is expected to borrow the Atkinson cycle 1.5L, 4-cylinder petrol engine and two electric motors from the City e:HEV. Honda's Tapukara manufacturing plant in Alwar, Rajasthan will serve as the production center for the upcoming Elevate hybrid SUV.

Honda Prelude Coupe
The new Honda Prelude is a hybrid coupe, with a 141bhp, 2.0L petrol engine and a 181bhp electric motor and a FWD (front-wheel drive) system. Combined power output is 200bhp. Upon launch, the Honda Prelude is expected to be priced around Rs 80 lakh.

Honda ZR-V Hybrid
Honda ZR-V Hybrid Globally, the Honda ZR-V is available with a 2.0L petrol engine, paired with a lithium-ion battery and two electric motors. This setup produces maximum power of 180bhp and 315Nm torque. It has three drive modes – EV, Hybrid and Engine. Honda also sells the ZR-V with a 1.5L turbo petrol engine with a CVT gearbox and AWD system in some global markets.

New Delhi. Honda Cars India has released a teaser image which shows the Elevate midsize SUV-like silhouette. The official statement read, “Bold looks. Unstoppable spirit. Something exciting is coming your way soon.” Although, official details have not been revealed yet, but it is expected that this model will be a special edition of Honda Elevate. It may be named Elevate Bold Edition or Elevate Explorer Edition, as hinted in the teaser.

The teaser hints that the new Honda Elevate Special Edition may get a sporty red treatment inside and out. On the exterior, it may get red accents on the front grille and bonnet and 17-inch red finished alloy wheels. Inside, the special edition may have a dual-tone theme, possibly all-black or all-black with red highlights.
