New Delhi. Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) today announced a major milestone for its popular mid-size SUV, Hyundai Creta. Creta has recorded the highest annual sales of 2 lakh units in a calendar year. This achievement is indicative of the fact that an average of 550 Cretas are being sold every day, which proves the immense popularity of this model and its strong hold in the Indian automobile market. With a decade of dominance in the mid-size SUV segment, this achievement reflects the trust that customers continue to place on Creta.
Popular since launch
Despite many new models being launched in the segment, Creta has continued to lead the way, grow and define the category it has created. This year, the Creta brand also completed 10 years and has registered an impressive CAGR of over 9% between 2016 and 2025. With over 34% market share in the mid-size SUV segment, Hyundai Creta has become a well-known name across the country.
