New Delhi. JSW Motors Limited, the passenger mobility division of JSW Group, is all set to launch its first car in India this year. According to the reports coming out, the first model could be the Jetour T2 SUV. JSW wants to establish itself as a car manufacturing brand and that is why T2 will be launched separately from the company's joint venture with MG, JSW MG Motor India. The special thing is that this SUV will have the badge and model name of JSW instead of Jetour. The SUV will be assembled at the brand's new greenfield manufacturing plant in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Maharashtra and is expected to hit showrooms by the third quarter of this year.

Features, specifications and price of Jetour T2
Plug-in hybrid powertrain will be available in T2. Pure ICE versions of the T2 are also available, but in line with JSW's focus on sustainable mobility, the T2 i-DM in India will come with a 1.5-litre plug-in hybrid powertrain. The plug-in hybrid is available in both AWD and FWD versions, although it is not yet known which version will be launched in India.
