Kia is continuously improving in the Indian car market. This trend continued last month also. In April 2026, the company has sold a total of 27,286 units. This figure shows an impressive increase of 16 percent on an annual basis compared to the total 23,623 units sold in April 2025.

If we look at the sales report, Kia Seltos was the best selling car of the company. At the same time, an increase was also seen in the sales of Sonet and Carens. Apart from this, demand for Syros and Carnival has decreased. Kia EV6 and EV9 have not found a single customer in the last month. Let's take a look at the model-wise sales report.

Kia Seltos

Kia Seltos is at number one in the list. A total of 10,566 units of this SUV were sold last month. This figure represents an impressive growth of 72 percent year-on-year compared to the total 6,135 units sold in April 2025. Its ex-showroom price starts from ₹ 10.99 lakh and goes up to ₹ 19.99 lakh (top X-Line).

With a bold new digital tiger face, LED lights, muscular look and premium styling, the Seltos gets a 30-inch Trinity Panoramic Display (dual 12.3-inch screen), panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, Bose sound system, level-2 ADAS, 360° camera, wireless charging and OTA updates.

For safety, it has 6 airbags, 5-star Bharat NCAP, ESC and ADAS. Engine options include 1.5L petrol (115hp), 1.5L turbo petrol (160hp), 1.5L diesel (116hp). It is capable of giving a mileage of up to 17-20 kmpl (ARAI). This is a better option for those who want an economical, feature-packed and stylish compact SUV.

Kia Sonet

Kia Sonet is at second place in terms of sales. Last month, a total of 10,537 people bought this affordable SUV. This figure represents an annual increase of 31 percent compared to the total 8,068 units sold in April 2025.

Kia Cars

Carens is at third place in terms of sales. A total of 5,465 units were sold last month. This figure shows a slight increase of 4 percent on an annual basis compared to the total 5,259 units sold in April 2025.

Kia Syros

Siros's cell has decreased suddenly. Only 554 units have been sold in April 2026. This figure shows a decline of 86 percent on an annual basis compared to the total 4,000 units sold in April 2025.

Kia Carnival

In terms of sales, Carnival is at fifth and last place. A total of 164 units were sold last month. This figure shows a slight increase of 2 percent on an annual basis compared to the total 161 units sold in April 2025.

This figure represents an impressive growth of 54 percent year-on-year compared to 2,830 Seltos sold in December 2024. The company had recently updated Seltos and its effect is also visible in the sales report.

Kia Seltos: price and features

2026 Kia Seltos can be purchased in the Indian car market at a starting ex-showroom price of only ₹ 10,99,000. After the recent update, the design of this SUV has changed a lot and new features have also been added. The company sells it with premium features like dual-pane panoramic sunroof, level-2 ADAS, dual 10.25-inch and 12.3-inch panoramic displays, Bose 8-speaker sound system, ventilated front seats, 64-color ambient lighting and wireless charging.

Engine options available are 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol (113 bhp, 144 Nm), 1.5L turbo petrol (158 bhp, 253 Nm) and 1.5L diesel (114 bhp, 250 Nm). Talking about mileage (ARAI), it is capable of giving fuel efficiency of 17-17.9 kmpl in petrol and 19.1-20.7 kmpl in diesel.

Kia Cars

Kia Carens is at number two in the list. It got a total of 3,681 new customers last month. This figure represents an impressive growth of 40 percent year-on-year compared to the total 2,626 units sold in December 2024.

Kia Syros

Kia Sciros is at third place in terms of sales. It has got 1,116 new customers last month. This figure represents almost double the monthly increase compared to the total 554 units sold in November 2025.

Kia Sonet

There has been a huge increase in the sales of Sonet. Last month, this small SUV got a total of 9,418 customers. This figure represents a spectacular increase of 182 percent year-on-year compared to the total 3,337 units sold in December 2024.

Kia Carnival

The next number is Kia Carnival, it got the least number of customers. Only 75 units were sold in December 2025. This figure represents a 27 percent year-on-year decline compared to the total 103 Carnivals sold in December 2024. Apart from this, Kia EV6 and EV9 did not find a single customer last month.
