Kia India has recorded its best ever performance in April 2026. The company sold a total of 27,286 units in the month of April, which shows a strong growth of 16 percent compared to April last year. This figure is the biggest record for any April month so far for Kia.
The company's performance has continuously strengthened in the last few months. In March 2026, Kia registered a growth of 14.5 percent by selling 29,112 units, while 27,610 units were sold in February and 27,603 units in January. Thus, in the first quarter (Q1) of the financial year 2026, the company achieved an annual growth of 11.6 percent by selling a total of 84,316 units. It is clear from these figures that Kia's grip in the Indian market is continuously getting stronger.
High demand for Sonet and Seltos
Major credit for Kia's success goes to its popular models. Sonet and Seltos remain the best selling models of the company. The Sonet continues to show strong demand in the sub-compact SUV segment, while the new generation Seltos has attracted more attention after recently achieving a 5-star Bharat NCAP safety rating. Apart from this, Carens, Carnival and other premium models have also contributed significantly to the sales.
