New Delhi. Mahindra & Mahindra introduced four concept SUV – Vision X, Vision Tea, Vision S and Vision SXT on 15 August. In this event, the new monococcu NU_IQ platform was also debuted, which is the basis of all these SUV concepts. This new architecture, which is capable of supporting many Povertrains (ICE, electric and hybrid), has the power to achieve a 5-star crash safety rating.

The Mahindra Vision X and Vision S Concepts are expected to get a glimpse of the next generation XUV3 XO Subcompact SUV and a Creta rival SUV. The car manufacturer has confirmed that NU_IQ platform based SUVs will start coming to 2027. Let's take a look at what can be expected from New Jane's Mahindra XUV3 XO and Mahindra's new Creta Fighter Midsize SUV.

New Jane's Mahindra XUV3 XO (Vision X)

Second Jane's XUV3 XO's Vision X is expected to take several design elements. The concept featured a closed grill with Mahindra's twin peak logo, thin lighting elements on the front bumper, a well -like windshield and a sculptured bonnet. Other design highlights include square wheel arch, aero-optimized wheel arch, front-running black cladding, flush-fitting door handle and major crease on doors. According to media reports, SUV's hybrid and electric variants are currently in a developing phase and can come by 2026.

New Mahindra Midsize SUV (Vision S)
The upcoming Mahindra Midsize SUV will be based on Vision S Concept, which has rugged styling and high ground clearance. Its design is expected to be similar to the Mini-Skorpio, including the headlamps, heavy black bumper, fog lamps of pixel-shape and Mahindra's signature logo, which has a vertical stacked LED trio on both sides.

These features are also present
While Mahindra Vision S contained roof-mounted lights, a jerry can and a roof ladder on the Karb side, these elements cannot come in the production model. The concept also featured major wheel arch, 19-inch tires, flush-fitting door handles, thick black cladding around the entire body, rear bumper with integrated reflectors, rear bumpers, inverted L-shape tailmps and tailgate mounted spare wheels.

All these concepts are based on the new NU IQ modular platforms, which supports many powertrains including ICE, Hybrid and Electric. The Mahindra Vision X Concept SUV will probably follow the next generation's XUV 3xo, with some design elements shared with XEV.

Hope of debut in 2027
The car manufacturer has confirmed that NU IQ platform based SUVs will start coming to 2027. The next generation Xuv 3xo is expected to come up by the beginning of 2028 mid or 2029. Most of the design elements of Vision X Concept in New Jane's Mahindra XUV 3xo, ready for exterior design, are expected to maintain elements. The concept SUV has a sporty, crossover stance with high ground clearance.

New Mahindra Xuv 3xo

At the front, it has a seled-off grille, coupe-like windshield, sculpted bonnet, slim lighting elements on the front bumper and XEV9 e-inspired fog lamps with twin pix logo. The side profile has been extended with aero-optimized dual-tone alloy wheels, low profile tires, squeezed wheel arc, front to rear black cladding, flush-fitting door handles, bold crease and a silver side step on doors.

Interior

The interior design and features Mahindra Vision X have a dual screen setup that serves as both infotainment and instrument cluster. It has a black finish dashboard, 2-spoke steering wheels, cup holders and a large center console with storage space, Personal Center Arm Rests for front passengers. A similar interior layout is expected for the new generation Mahindra XUV 3xo.

Powertrain
Mahindra has not yet disclosed Paurtrain Details. However, since it is based on the NU IQ platform which is compatible with multiple powertrains, the new generation XUV 3xo is expected to be introduced with 3 engine options – petrol, hybrid and electric.

New Delhi. Mahindra has introduced the Vision T SUV concept during an event in Mumbai with Vision S, Vision X and Vision SXT concepts. It was being awaited for a long time. This is a developed version of the new concept Thar.E concept, which was first shown in August 2023. The production-redi model of Vision T concept will come in 2027 and it will probably be part of the Thar family.

Design highlights
In appearance, Vision T Thar.E seems stronger and aggressive, especially on its front end. It has two-parts grills that have vertical slots, as we have seen in Thar Roxx. The headlamps have a square lighting element, surrounded by two vertical elements. The same design pattern will also be seen on tailmp clusters. Design elements such as major wheel arches, square bonnets, bonnet lacques, all-terrain tires and mounted spare wheels on the tailgate further enhance its muscular presence.

Mahindra Vision T

Mahindra will be one of the first models based on the new NU.IQ platform of Mahindra Vision T brand based on Mahindra's new NU.IQ platform, introduced with Mahindra Vision Concept SUVs. This new flexible architecture supports several powertrain, Drivetrain (FWD and AWD) and LHD and RHD configurations. It has been claimed to give the best-in-class commanding seat height, ground clearance and cabin space.

Mahindra & Mahindra, along with Warner Bros, has also introduced BE 6 Batman Edition. This special edition based on Pack Three Trim has been priced at Rs 27.79 lakh (ex-showroom). Only 300 units of Batman Edition will be sold in India. It comes in exclusive Satin Black color scheme and has 20-inch alloy wheels, custom batman decks on doors and alchemy gold-painted suspension components and brake calipers. Elements inspired by many Batman series inside the cabin give it a unique and great appeal. The booking of Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition will start from 23 August, and delivery will start from September 20, 2025.

'Best in Segment'
The company has claimed that NU.IQ will offer Leading Seating and Ground Clearance in the platform segment. The SUVs on this architecture will have a 1,563mm seating position, 350mm driver 'H' point and ground clearance up to 227mm. Apart from this, the new Mahindra NU.IQ platform is also going to get adequate cabin space with 830mm couple distance, 937mm second roam legroom and 1,404mm shoulder room.

Better driveability, handling and mileage

Advance Suspension and Ride Comfort Mahindra has revealed that her new flexible NU.IQ comes with a link rear suspension system, which has been extended with Davinci damper technology. It has been claimed to be the first such technology in the world, which does better ride comfort and body control. Architecture is described as “heavy in style, light in everything”, its 'light' increases body type driveness, handling and mileage.

New Electric SUV announced for Q1, 2026
The domestic automaker has revealed the plan to launch two new electric SUVs in Q1, 2026. While the names have not yet been revealed, one of them is likely to be the Mahindra XEV 7e-seater electric SUV. This model is likely to be shared with powertrain, design, features and components XEV 9E. The AX5 petrol manual is priced at Rs 10.99 lakh, while the automatic price is Rs 12.49 lakh, ex-showroom. The price of diesel version, manual and automatic, is Rs 12.19 lakh and Rs 12.99 lakh respectively.

The new Revx range is available only in petrol and has three variants – Revx M is priced at Rs 8.94 lakh, Revx M (O) is priced at Rs 9.44 lakh, and Revx A starts from Rs 11.79 lakh.

The XUV 3xo is available in two petrol engine options-1.2-liter naturally aspirated and 1.2-liter turbo. The NA engine generates 110 bhp at 5,000 rpm and 200 Nm at 1500-3500 rpm. On the other hand, turbo petrol generates 129 bhp at 5,000 rpm and 230 Nm at 1500-3750 rpm. The NA engine is available only with 6-speed manual, while turbo has a 6-speed automatic torque converter.
