Escudo's entry-level variant is expected to cost around Rs 9 lakh or Rs 10 lakh, while the top-spec strong hybrid variant is expected to be priced at around Rs 18 lakh or Rs 19 lakh.

Three engine options
Petrol, Hybrid and CNG Maruti Escudo are likely to have three engine options borrowed from Grand Vitara – 1.5L K15C Petrol, 1.5L Atkinson Cycle Strong Hybrid and a CNG variant. Hybrid configuration will be introduced with high trims.

Segment-first features
Segment-first features According to media reports, Escudo will be the first car of Maruti Suzuki with an underbody CNG kit, which will increase boot space.
