Celerio has a 998cc, 3-cylinder K10C petrol engine, which gives about 67 bhp power and 89 Nm torque. CNG variant is also available in it. You can choose between a 5-speed manual or AMT automatic gearbox, which is great for city driving.

More options in WagonR
Whereas, in WagonR you get more options. It has a 1.0-litre engine, which gives the same power as the Celerio, or you can also choose a 1.2-litre petrol engine, which gives power up to 88.5 bhp. This makes the WagonR feel more powerful, especially when driving with the family or on the highway. CNG variants are also available in this.

The biggest reason for buying Maruti cars is mileage. Celerio petrol variant gives a mileage of up to 26 km per liter, while Celerio CNG can go up to 34.43 km per kg. On the other hand, the mileage of WagonR petrol is up to 24.43 km per liter and the CNG variant can reach around 34.73 km per kg.

Size, space and comfort
The Celerio is slightly longer and wider, which makes its look and feel more car-like. However, the WagonR is quite tall, which gives it more headroom and makes the cabin feel spacious. In this update, the company has standard setup by replacing the 2 airbag setup. This means that in every variant of this car, now you will get 6 airbags.

The entry-level variant has become expensive by Rs 27,500, while the prices of VXI MT and CNG MT variants have increased by Rs 16,000. The price of the VXI AMT variant is now around Rs 21,000, while the price of Top-end ZXI and ZXI+ MT variants has seen an increase of Rs 27,500. The price of Range-Topping ZXI+ AMT variant is now Rs 32,500 more than before.

Engine and power
No other changes have been made in Silaio. The hatchback continues to use 1.0L, 3-cylinder Natural Aspirated K10C petrol engine as before, which produces a maximum power of 67bhp and torque of 89Nm. The 5-speed manual gearbox comes as the standard, while a 5-speed AMT transmission is available from VXI trim.

Mileage up to 34 km
LXI, VXI and ZXI MT variants give a mileage of 25.24 km per liter, while VXI AMT gives a mileage of 26.68 km per liter. ZXI+ MT offers 24.97 kmpl, while ZXI AMT offers 26 kmpl. The mileage of the CNG version claims to be 34.43 km/kg.
