This SUV became popular even before its arrival! 406 tonne train pulled with the help of powerful engine

JSW MG Motor India's upcoming flagship SUV MG Majestor has created history even before its launch. On March 31, 2026, the stock production model Majestor created a Guinness World Record by pulling a train weighing 406.4 tonnes for a distance of 300 feet on the operational railway track between Kakapora and Awantipora railway stations in Jammu and Kashmir. The train consisted of WAG-9HC locomotive along with passenger and guard coaches.

The minimum benchmark of Guinness World Records was 400 tons weight and 100 feet distance, which Majestor easily exceeded. Company's Managing Director Anurag Mehrotra said that this reflects the engineering strength, precision and control of Majestor. We are setting new benchmarks. No modifications were made to the stock vehicle. Majestor is scheduled to be launched in the Indian market on 20 April 2026, pre-bookings have opened for ₹ 41,000.
