Design and interior

The design of Kodiaq RS is more aggressive than the regular model. The interior is based on an all-black theme with red stitching providing contrast. Sport seats (suede or leather), 13-inch touchscreen, 10-inch virtual cockpit, 3-zone climate control and Simply Clever features like phone storage, screen cleaner etc. There is good legroom and headroom in the second row. The 5-seater version has 910 liters of boot space, while in the 7-seater the third row folds flat. Premium materials and ambient lighting add comfort.

Features and safety

The model will have features like a large infotainment system, wireless charging, premium audio, panoramic sunroof (possible in India-spec), adjustable rear seats and seats with memory function. ADAS technology will also be available.

For safety, safety features like 9 airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, hill assist, ISOFIX and Euro NCAP 5-star rating are standard. ADAS system will provide additional safety.

Engine and Mileage

Its 2.0-litre TSI turbo petrol engine generates 265 PS power and 400 Nm torque. With 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox and AWD system, it provides both performance and grip. Mileage will be less than regular Kodiaq (14.86 kmpl). In sporty driving it can remain less than single digits.
