Booking of Skoda Kodiaq RS will start from June 22!

Skoda India is preparing to launch its performance flagship SUV Kodiaq RS in the Indian market. Its booking will start from 22 June 2026. This is a sportier version of the second generation Kodiaq, which will come with a more powerful engine, RS-style design and AWD system than the regular Kodiaq. This will be the first RS badged SUV in India, which offers a perfect balance of family use and sporty driving.

Imported in limited numbers through the CBU route, this SUV will enter the luxury segment. With a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine with 265 PS power and 400 Nm torque, it completes 0-100 kmph in just 6.3 seconds, while the top speed is 231 kmph. This will be an attractive option for those enthusiasts who want space, comfort and performance. Booking and delivery details

Booking will start from June 22, 2026 on Skoda's official website and dealerships. The price is expected to be around ₹55-60 lakh (ex-showroom). Like Octavia RS, it will also be sold as a limited edition.

Design and interior

The design of Kodiaq RS is more aggressive than the regular model. Blacked-out grille, segmented DRLs, lower bumper air intakes, 20-inch alloy wheels, red brake callipers and black accents give it a sporty look. At the rear, split LED taillights, deep spoiler and aero features reduce drag to 0.28. Overall, it looks like an SUV with a muscular and elongated stance.

The interior is based on an all-black theme with red stitching providing contrast. Sport seats (suede or leather), 13-inch touchscreen, 10-inch virtual cockpit, 3-zone climate control and Simply Clever features like phone storage, screen cleaner etc. There is good legroom and headroom in the second row. The 5-seater version has 910 liters of boot space, while in the 7-seater the third row folds flat. Premium materials and ambient lighting add comfort.

Features and safety

The model will have features like a large infotainment system, wireless charging, premium audio, panoramic sunroof (possible in India-spec), adjustable rear seats and seats with memory function. ADAS technology will also be available.

For safety, safety features like 9 airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, hill assist, ISOFIX and Euro NCAP 5-star rating are standard. ADAS system will provide additional safety.

Engine and Mileage

Its 2.0-litre TSI turbo petrol engine generates 265 PS power and 400 Nm torque. With 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox and AWD system, it provides both performance and grip. Mileage will be less than regular Kodiaq (14.86 kmpl). In sporty driving it can remain less than single digits.
