Tata Motors has launched the Jubilee Edition of its popular mid-size SUV Tata Sierra to celebrate the milestone of domestic sales of 50,000 units. This special edition is available as dealer-fitted accessory packs on Smart+, Pure and Adventure variants. The Jubilee Edition is priced at a starting price of ₹ 11.99 lakh (ex-showroom), giving customers the opportunity to purchase a personalized and stylish SUV right from the dealership.

This edition does not bring any changes to the mechanicals or powertrain, but focuses on cosmetic, comfort and protection accessories. The Smart+ Jubilee Edition adds a premium touch to the base variant, while the Pure adds practical features for everyday use. The Adventure variant offers a rugged look with ROQ kit. These packs have been designed according to the customer profile. Some will increase comfort, some will add adventurous appeal.

The Jubilee Edition gets exterior upgrades depending on the variant. Front grille and tailgate cladding, roof rails are provided in Smart+. The Pure adds wheel arch cladding and body cladding packages. The Adventure Jubilee Edition gets the Sierra ROQ kit, which includes front-rear skid plates, hood scoop, window-line and wheel-arch cladding, body decals. This gives the SUV a more aggressive and off-road ready look. The standard Sierra's split tailgate and 205 mm ground clearance remain intact.

The cabin gets leatherette seat upholstery, leatherette steering wheel cover (in Pure) and premium touches. Jubilee packs make the seats more premium. The standard Sierra has a spacious cabin, good headroom-legroom and material quality.

Features and safety

Smart+ Jubilee includes a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system (wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay), rear view camera and 4-speaker audio system. The Pure adds front-rear dashcams, parcel tray, magnetic sunshades. The Adventure has ROQ styling with dashcams. Standard features may include panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, triple screen setup (in top variants).

6 airbags are standard in Tata Sierra. Also there is ESP, all disc brakes, ISOFIX, Level 2+ ADAS (in some variants) and strong structure. The Jubilee Edition retains the standard safety features.

Powertrain details

Jubilee Edition is based on ICE variants. It has 1.5 liter NA petrol (106 hp, 145 Nm), 1.5 liter turbo petrol (160 hp, 255 Nm) and 1.5 liter diesel (118 hp, 260/280 Nm) engine options. It can be purchased with manual and automatic gearbox.

Tata has also recently launched the Sierra EV, which can be purchased at a starting ex-showroom price of ₹ 18.79 lakh. It has 63 kWh and 75 kWh battery packs. RWD models have rear motor (up to 238 hp) and AWD have dual motor (504 Nm). Claimed range is up to 566-665 KM (MIDC), real-world range can be assumed to be 450+ km. It supports 120 kW DC fast charging.

New Delhi. Skoda India has launched the new special edition variants of Kushak and Slavia on the occasion of completion of 25 years in the Indian market. The price of Kushak Anniversary Edition starts at ₹ 16.39 lakhs, while the price of Slavia Anniversary Edition starts at ₹ 15.63 lakhs, ex-showroom. These limited-e-order cars include luxurious exterior finish and some additional equipment inside.

Exterior upgrade
The Kushak Anniversary Edition is based on the Monte Carlo variant of the Midsize SUV, and is being introduced in two exclusive external paint finish – Deep Black and Tornado Red. Deep Black has red accents, while Tornado Red has black accents. The exterior includes fog lamp garnish, boot garnish and lower dor garnish; The B-Pillar also has a 25th anniversary badge and a red extension for a spiler. The Kushak Anniversary Edition includes upgrades such as new 360-degree camera, pael lamps and underbody lighting.

The Kushak Anniversary Edition has all 3 powertrains of regular SUV-115hp, 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine that is connected to 6-speed manual or 6-speed torque converter, and 150hp, 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine that is connected to 7-speed DCT.

Monte based on Carlo Trim
Like Kushak, the Slavia Anniversary Edition is also based on Monte Carlo Trim. The updates are also the same – the new deep black external paint finish of Slavia has red accents, while Tornado Red has black accents. These are also in the form of front bumper garnish, boot lid garnish and lower dor garnish. It also includes a 360-degree camera, pale lamps and underbody lighting as an accessory package. The Slavia Anniversary Edition is also available with all three powertrain options of Kushak.
