This figure is 46.1 percent more than the 48,076 units sold in the same month last year. PV sales in international trade (IB) reached 844 units, representing an increase of 251.7% from 240 units. Overall, the EV segment (domestic + iB) sold 9,052 units, up 72.7% from 5,240 units in January 2025.

Nexon and Punch shine!

This success of Tata Motors is based on the strong demand for SUV and EV models. Tata Nexon retained the title of the company's Best Selling Car with sales of 23,000 units. Whereas, 19,000 units of Tata Punch have been sold. Punch has crossed the 7 lakh units mark in just 4 years and 3 months, while Tiago has also joined the club of 7 lakh total sales. The company has also recently increased the production of Sierra model.

Tata Motors sold 1.71 lakh units in the third quarter of FY26, which is a growth of 22.3%.
