Mahindra XUV 3XO can be offered with CNG engine.

Mahindra is preparing to launch a CNG version for its popular compact SUV Mahindra XUV 3XO soon. According to reports, the company wants to make this SUV more economical and fuel-efficient by adding a new CNG powertrain.

In view of the increasing demand for CNG cars in India, this step is considered very important. This new variant can become a game-changer to compete with cars like Tata Nexon. It is expected that the XUV 3XO CNG will be based on the existing petrol engine and will offer lower running costs along with better mileage. Let's take a look at the possible details.

Design and interior

Not much change is expected in the design of XUV 3XO CNG. Like the current model, it will come with a bold and sporty look. LED headlamps, DRLs and new grill design can be seen in the front. At the rear, connected LED taillights and muscular stance will give it premium appeal. Overall, its road presence will be strong in the segment.

Talking about the interior, it is expected to get a premium cabin. The soft-touch dashboard, leather seats and dual-tone theme will give it an upmarket feel. However, the boot space may be slightly less in the CNG version as the cylinder will be fitted at the rear. Still, cabin space and comfort will remain almost the same as in the petrol model.

Features and safety

This SUV can be quite advanced in terms of features. Features like dual 10.25-inch screen (infotainment + digital cluster), wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, panoramic sunroof (Skyroof), dual-zone climate control, 360-degree camera and premium sound system can be found in it. Apart from this, safety technology like ADAS (Level 2) can also be seen in higher variants.

In terms of safety, XUV 3XO is already considered strong and the same level is expected to remain intact in the CNG version also. Features like 6 airbags, ESC, hill hold control, 4 disc brakes, ISOFIX mounts and 360-degree camera can be found in it. Besides, it has been designed according to high safety rating, which will make it a reliable option for family use.

Engine and Performance

According to reports, the XUV 3XO CNG may be offered with a factory-fitted CNG kit with the 1.2-litre MPFI turbo-petrol engine. This engine performs well in petrol mode, whereas in CNG mode the power may be slightly less, which is usually seen in CNG vehicles. The CNG version is expected to get a mileage of 25-30 km/kg.

Mahindra is bringing 'Mini Scorpio N', you will plan to buy it as soon as you see the look! Price also less than 10 lakhs

Mahindra Vision S was recently spotted testing and life-like render images from the production guys have also surfaced. It would be perfect to call it Mini Scorpio N, because its boxy, rugged and upright stance is exactly like the Scorpio N, only the size is sub-4 meter. This SUV built on NU_IQ platform is going to be launched in 2027 and can take the Indian market by storm.

Talking about competition, it will compete directly with vehicles like Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet and Maruti Brezza, but will give a premium touch with rugged lifestyle and off-road appeal. Its starting ex-showroom price is likely to be less than Rs 10 lakh, which will make it a value for money and family-adventure car. Let's take a look at the possible details.

Design and look

In the renders and spy shots, the Vision S looks completely boxy and funky. The flat clamshell bonnet, wide 7-slat grille, circular headlamps, large scuff plates, squared wheel arches, slab-sided body and tailgate-mounted spare wheel give it a rugged look like the Land Rover Defender. With thick cladding, skid plates and upright stance, it looks like an adventure car even in the city. This design will remain almost the same in the production version.

Interior, Features and Safety

Interior spy shots of the February 2026 show panoramic sunroof (full-length), touchscreen infotainment, physical buttons, manual AC controls and fabric seats. This seems to be a mid-spec variant. The concept had dual large screens, blue-black theme, ventilated seats and a new steering wheel.

Practicality has increased with 60:40 split on the rear seats, adjustable headrests for all three, cup holders and door pockets. Features like wireless Android Auto-Apple CarPlay, cruise control and 360° camera will be available in the top variant. Mahindra is targeting 5-star GNCAP. 6 airbags standard, level-2 ADAS, TPMS, ESC and electronic parking brake will be available.

Engine and Performance

Diesel-automatic is confirmed. AT gearbox will be available with 1.5-litre diesel (117hp, 300Nm). 1.2-litre turbo petrol, hybrid and EV options are also ready. The NU_IQ platform supports both FWD/AWD. Easy handling in the city, good torque on the highway and strong performance in light off-roading is expected.

Overall, Mahindra Vision S is bringing a real rugged SUV for the first time in the sub-4 meter segment. Filling the space between the

Nissan will make a big bang in the Indian market! Will launch the best selling SUV with strong updates

Nissan Magnite SUV in 2024: The Nissan Magnite facelift is expected to launch in October 2024 with minor updates aimed at making the SUV more attractive. The Nissan Magnite hasn't seen many changes since its launch in 2020, so now is the perfect time for the SUV to get a makeover.

Although Nissan is a major global car brand, it has not had much success in the Indian passenger vehicle market. Due to low sales, Nissan has had to limit its Indian lineup and now the company sells only two models – a compact and affordable SUV Magnite and the other premium offering X-Trail. In this situation, Nissan Magnite has become an important car for the company, which has kept the company in the market. For this reason, Nissan is now preparing to introduce its facelift model, in which many new things will be seen.

What will be special in Magnite facelift
According to reports, the 2024 Nissan Magnite will get cosmetic changes in the form of a new radiator grille, redesigned headlamps, updated LED daylight running lights, and newly designed front and rear bumpers. Apart from this, new design alloy wheels and taillights can also be seen. However, its dimensions are not expected to change.

What will be the changes in the engine?
There will not be many changes in the engine of the 2024 Nissan Magnite. It will come with the same engine set as the current model, which includes a 1.0-liter three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine and a 1.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine. The naturally aspirated engine comes with a 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT gearbox, while the turbocharged petrol motor is available with 5-speed manual and CVT unit transmission options.

There will be major updates in the interior
The interior of the cabin may also get some sporty changes, although its design layout will remain the same as before. The dashboard is likely to get some changes, and it may also have features like a single-pan sunroof and 6 airbags. The touchscreen infotainment system is likely to get a larger screen, making this SUV even more attractive to consumers.

The 2024 Nissan Magnite will compete with SUVs like the Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Hyundai Venue and Mahindra 3XO. Apart from this, it will also compete with the Renault Kiger, Maruti Frontx and Tata Punch.
