Tata Motors has launched the new Pure+ PS variant in the Nexon range. This has become the first car in India, in which panoramic sunroof is available at an ex-showroom price of less than Rs 10 lakh. The price of petrol MT variant has been kept at ₹ 9.59 lakh at Delhi ex-showroom. This launch has been done on the occasion of sale of 10 lakh units of Nexon.

The Pure+ PS variant sets a new benchmark in the compact SUV segment by offering premium features at an affordable price. Earlier the panoramic sunroof was limited to higher variants, but now it has come to the mid-spec Pure+ trim. With voice assisted panoramic sunroof, this car has become more attractive for new buyers. Especially for those who want a premium feel while staying within their budget. Design and Interior

The design of Tata Nexon has always been bold and muscular. The same attractive styling continues in the Pure+ PS variant as well. Projector headlamps with LED DRLs, connected LED taillamps, dual-tone color options and roof rails are provided. Ground clearance of 208 mm makes it strong on Indian roads. The new variant gives a more premium look with panoramic sunroof.

The cabin is spacious and modern. Expanding its CNG lineup, the company has today launched its new Nexon iCNG in the domestic market. Equipped with attractive looks and powerful engine, the starting price of this CNG SUV has been fixed at Rs 8.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

With the launch of this new model, Tata Nexon has become the only car in the country that is available in petrol, diesel, CNG and even electric versions. The company has introduced Nexon CNG in a total of 8 variants. These include Smart (O), Smart Plus, Smart Plus S, Pure, Pure S, Creative, Creative Plus and Fearless Plus S.

Nexon CNG: How is the design
There has been no change in the look and design of this SUV. It is exactly like the new facelift model. It has a split-headlamp setup and the Tata logo is found on the wide upper grille section. The lower part of the headlights is housed in a trapezoidal housing with a large grille, across which a thick plastic strip is attached. The new Nexon has been given new sequential LED daytime running lights.

Power, Performance and Mileage
In Nexon CNG, the company has given a 1.2 liter capacity turbocharged petrol engine, which comes with a 6-speed manual transmission gearbox. The company has also used its dual-cylinder technology in this. That is, two small CNG cylinders have been installed in the car. So that you do not have to compromise on boot space. It has a boot space of 321 liters. In CNG mode, this engine generates 99bhp of power and 170Nm of torque. The company claims that this CNG SUV will give a mileage of 24 km / kg.

Cabin and Interior
The cabin of the Tata Nexon facelift has been redesigned with a new touchscreen set-up and a two-spoke steering wheel, inspired by the Curve concept interior design. The AC vents have been made slightly thinner. There are fewer buttons on the dashboard, which makes feature operation easier.

The central console has two toggles surrounded by a touch-based HVAC control panel. The dashboard also gets leather inserts with a carbon-fibre-like finish. It gets a free-standing 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and the second screen is a 10.25-inch full-digital instrument cluster, which can also be customised for navigation.

The top-spec Nexon gets 360-degree camera, connected car technology, wireless charger, ventilated front seats, air purifier, etc. In terms of safety, it comes standard with 6 airbags, ESC, three-point seat belts for all seats, ISOFIX as well as emergency and breakdown call assistant.
