Toyota is performing better in the Indian market. The company started FY27 on a very good note. A total of 30,159 units have been sold in the first month of financial year 2027 i.e. April 2026. This figure shows an impressive increase of 21.45 percent on an annual basis compared to the total 24,833 units sold in April 2025.

Toyota Hyrider

Hayrider is at number one in terms of sales. A total of 9115 units were sold last month. This figure shows a spectacular increase of 96.36 percent on an annual basis compared to the total 4642 units sold in April 2025. Its ex-showroom price starts from ₹ 10.99 lakh and goes up to ₹ 20.19 lakh.

This mid-size SUV comes with an attractive and muscular design, which has LED headlamps, taillamps and premium styling. The interior offers a dual-tone premium cabin, soft touch materials, spacious 5-seater layout and excellent fit-finish. Modern features like 9-inch touchscreen, 360° camera, panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, wireless charging and cruise control are available in the features.

In terms of safety, 6 airbags, ESP, hill hold and strong body structure have been provided. The engine has 1.5 liter petrol mild hybrid and strong hybrid (116 PS) options, in which the hybrid variant gives ARAI mileage of up to 27.97 kmpl. Demand for Glanza has decreased. A total of 3360 units were sold last month. This figure shows an annual decline of 18.68 percent compared to the total 4132 units sold in April 2025.

Toyota Rumion

On the basis of slight increase, Rumian has registered its name in the list of top-5 cars of the company. A total of 2585 units were sold last month. This figure is an increase of 5 percent on an annual basis compared to the total 2462 units sold in April 2025.

Apart from the top-5 cars of the company mentioned above, 2550 units of Taisor, 2253 units of Fortuner, 304 units of Hilux, 199 units of Camry, 118 units of Velfire and only 45 units of LC300 were sold last month.
