Toyota is preparing to update its popular car Innova Hycross. Recently the facelift model has been spotted testing in heavy camouflage, which may be launched early next year. The spy shots show that the company is bringing stylish tweaks to the exterior and modern changes to the cabin. While maintaining the success of the existing model, Toyota is focusing on making it more competitive.

Updates like larger touchscreen, revised dashboard and refreshed lighting units can be seen in the new version. While retaining the hybrid powertrain, some eco-friendly updates are also possible. Design and interior

Small but noticeable changes will be seen in the exterior of Innova Hycross facelift. The pictures revealed new slimmer headlights, squarer grille and redesigned front-rear bumpers. The interior design of the taillights may be updated. Features like new alloy wheels, integrated spoiler, shark-fin antenna and rear wiper may also be included. The overall silhouette will remain the same, but the look will be more modern and premium.

The biggest change can happen in the cabin. The existing dual tone brown-black dashboard may be replaced by a full black theme. The interiors will look more upmarket with a large free-standing touchscreen infotainment system, brushed aluminum AC vents and new trims. New user interface and better material quality will increase comfort.

Features and safety

Features like larger infotainment screen, fully digital instrument cluster, dual-zone climate control, ventilated seats, wireless charger and panoramic sunroof can be found in the updated model. Electric seat adjustment and updated connectivity options are also possible.

There will be no major changes mechanically. It will continue to be offered with the 2.0-litre petrol engine and strong-hybrid powertrain CVT/e-CVT. There may be a compatibility update with ethanol-petrol blend fuel, which will be in accordance with the upcoming fuel rules. Performance, comfort and fuel efficiency will remain as good as before.
