design details
The design of VinFast VF MPV 7 is modern and minimalist. Its length is 4740 mm, width is 1872 mm, height is 1734 mm and wheelbase is 2840 mm. With LED headlights, 19-inch alloy wheels and black cladding, it gives a new look to the family MPV. Toyota Innova Hycross is slightly longer (4755 mm) and taller (1795 mm). Its wheelbase is almost equal i.e. 2850 mm. Its design is premium and familiar with chrome accents and bold styling, which Indian families love.
Interior and Features
Both are 7-seater (Hycross also has an 8-seater option). The VF MPV 7 features leatherette upholstery, a 10.1-inch touchscreen, theatre-style seating and up to 1240 liters of boot space. Auto AC is comfortable with vents in all rows. The cabin of Innova Hycross looks more premium. There is panoramic sunroof (top variant), ventilated seats, JBL sound and spacious feel. Powertrain details
VF MPV 7 is electric. It has a 60.13 kWh battery which is capable of delivering 517 KM (ARAI) range with 204 PS power and 280 Nm torque. It can be charged from 10-70% in just 30 minutes with 80 kW DC fast charging. The speed of 0-100 kmph is achieved in about 10 seconds. The Innova Hycross has a 2.0L petrol (173 PS) or a strong hybrid (183 PS Combined), which can be bought with an e-CVT transmission and a claimed mileage of 23.24 kmpl.
Our advice: VinFast VF MPV 7 is a futuristic EV option. This car, which comes with low running cost and space, is a little weak in terms of features. Toyota Innova Hycross offers proven reliability, easy refueling and premium feel. If EV infra is available then choose VinFast, otherwise Hycross is safe and practical.
