Tata Ultrose Sale in July
In July 2025, a total of 3,905 units of the new Tata Altrose were sold, while Maruti Baleno's 12,503 units and Hyundai i20 sold 3,396 units. In the last six months, Tata Motors sold 16,092 units of Ultrose, while its rival Baleno and i20 recorded a total sales of 74,104 units and 22,875 units respectively.
Two engine options
2025 Tata Ultrose comes with two engine options – 88bhp, 1.2L petrol and 74bhp, 1.2L CNG. Transmission options include 5-speed manual, AMT and 6-speed dual-clutch automatic. Performance Oriented Ultrose Racer 120bhp uses 1.2L turbocharged petrol engine. Ultrose's major rivals – Maruti Baleno and Hyundai i20 are available with 90bhp, 1.2L dualJet K12N petrol engine, and 83bhp, 1.2L Natural Aspirated Petrol, 120bhp, 120bhp, 1.0L Turbo Petrol and 100bhp, 1.5L diesel engine options.
Midlife update was received in May
With midlife updates in May 2025, Tata Ultrose includes several new features, including 10.25-inch all digital instrument cluster blind spot monitoring and navigation display, two-spoke steering wheel, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system wireless applies and endrolaids. Along with, Tata's in-car connectivity technology, sunroof, AC vents, rear USB charger, 8-speaker Harman audio system, 360-degree camera, height adjustable seatbelt, six airbags.
