Skoda Kyalaq sold 27,091 units to double Sales of Skoda India, gave a strong position to the brand in the compact SUV segment and attracted the first time buyers.

Kyalak's tremendous cell
Since the delivery began on January 27, 2025, Skoda has sold 27,091 units of Kyalak-65%of the Total Cell 41,748 units of the automaker during January-July 2025. Kalak had a contribution, in which a record 7,422 units were sold, and helped doubling its sales from 17,565 units (January-July 2024) to 41,748 units (January-July 2025).
According to auto experts, aggressive pricing large variant range brought Skoda to more buyers. “Kyalak is available in 7 variants, it can be purchased with both manual and automatic gearbox options. The price of manual variants ranges from Rs 8.25 lakh to Rs 12.89 lakh in ex-showroom, and automatic variants are available from Rs 10.95 lakh to Rs 13.99 lakh.”
Perfect for first time buyers
There is a lot of demand for automatic variants in urban areas, while the mix of manual and automatic transmission is being preferred in Tier-3 cities. Another reason for its success is that Kyalak offers a package of features that are usually seen in more expensive segments – in terms of space, safety, and comfort – from which it becomes an attractive option for first time buyers.
