The Vinfast VF6 and VF7 electric SUVs will be launched in India on 6 September, assembly in Thoothukudi, VF6's WLTP range 480km and 496km of VF7, prices will be up to 20-30 lakhs.
Curtain will rise from price on 6 September
Official prices of EVS will be announced tomorrow, but the possible price of VF6 and VF7 can be Rs 20-25 lakh and Rs 25-30 lakh (on-road) respectively. The assembly of these electric SUVs has already started in the facility of Vinfast in Roathukudi, Tamil Nadu.
Vinfast VF6 This electric SUV will be available in two trims – meaning and wind. The car manufacturer has confirmed that the entry-level economy will have an all-black cabin theme, while the wind trim will have dual-tone mocha brown and black theme. VF6 6 will be available in external color options – Crimson Red, Jet Black, Zenith Gray, Urban Mint, Infinity Blanc and Desat Silver.
480km Wltp range
The Vinfast VF6 will have a 59.6kwh battery pack and 204bhp electric motor on the front-axle. This setup will offer a 480km WLTP range once charged. Power front wheels will be given. Vinfast VF7 VF7 will be available in three trims – Earth, Wind and Sky. While the Earth variants will have an all-black interior, wind and sky will have dual-tone mocha brown and black theme. External color options will be similar to VF6.
Big 70.8kwh Battery Pack
Talking about Paurtrain, the Vinfast VF7 will have a large 70.8kwh battery pack, which will have single and dual motor options. The dual motor will generate maximum power of AWD version 345PS and torque of 500Nm. This new Vinfast EV offers 496km driving range once charged. It can achieve speed of 0 to 100kmph in only 5.8 seconds.
