हमारी कार या वाहन का आंतरिक दहन इंजन (आईसीई) वाहन सड़क परिवहन और राजमार्ग मंत्रालय (एमओआरटीएच) द्वारा निर्धारित आवश्यक कार्बन उत्सर्जन स्तर को पूरा करता है या नही इसी को पीयूसी प्रमाणपत्र प्रमाणित करता है| कार या वाहन से कार्बन उत्सर्जन की इकाइयाँ निर्धारित सीमा के भीतर हैं और एक निश्चित प्रतिशत से अधिक नहीं हैं इसकी जाँच मशीन द्वारा करने के बाद ही पीयूसी प्रमाणपत्र जारी किया जाता है।
निर्धारित सीमाएं केंद्रीय मोटर वाहन अधिनियम, 1989 के तहत सूचीबद्ध हैं और एआरएआई (ऑटोमोटिव रिसर्च एसोसिएशन ऑफ इंडिया) की सिफारिशों के अनुसार निर्दिष्ट सीमाओं का नियमित रूप से पुनरीक्षण किया जाता है। दंड से बचने के लिए वाहन मालिकों को निर्देशों का पालन करते हुए हर छह महीने में अपने वाहन की जांच कराके प्रमाणपत्र प्राप्त करना होगा पीयूसी प्रमाण पत्र नहीं ले जाने के लिए जुर्माना पहले अपराध के लिए 1,000 रु और हर बाद के अपराध के लिए 2000 रूपये ।
The PUC certificate certifies whether the internal combustion engine (ICE) of our car or vehicle meets the required carbon emission level prescribed by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH). The PUC certificate is issued only after the units of carbon emissions from the car or vehicle are within the prescribed limits and do not exceed a certain percentage.
The prescribed limits are listed under the Central Motor Vehicles Act, 1989, and the specified limits are revised regularly as per the recommendations of ARAI (Automotive Research Association of India). To avoid penalties, vehicle owners will have to get their vehicle inspected every six months following the instructions. The fine for not carrying the PUC certificate is Rs 1,000 for the first offense and for every subsequent offense, 2000 Rs.
