Tata has brought back its iconic SUV in a new avatar. 2026 Tata Sierra is going to come with premium features like powerful design, 160 PS turbo petrol engine, triple screen dashboard and ADAS safety. Design: The design of the 2026 Tata Sierra retains its classic 'Alpine Window' look, but now comes with modern touches. It gets a full strip of LED DRLs, a muscular bonnet and 19-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. Its length is 4.3 meters, which gives it a strong road presence. Connected LED taillamps and flush door handles at the rear make it very premium.
Engine and Performance: Sierra comes with three main engine options. The first is 1.5L Revotron petrol (106 PS), the second is the new 1.5L TGDi turbo petrol (160 PS) and the third is the reliable 1.5L Cryojet diesel engine (118 PS). It has 6-speed manual, 7-speed DCA (for petrol) and 6-speed torque converter (for diesel) gearbox options, which are great for both city and highway driving.
Features: The cabin has a triple-screen dashboard setup, which includes a 12.3-inch main infotainment and a 10.25-inch digital cluster. Safety: Following the tradition of Tata, Sierra has been made very safe. It has 21 smart features of Level 2 ADAS (Adaptive Cruise Control, Autonomous Braking), 6 airbags (standard), 360-degree camera and ESP. Slightly low mileage in the city due to heavy weight, lack of AWD (all-wheel drive) in the diesel engine and long waiting period can be a reason for not choosing it.
